• You'll be given gauze and/or medicated rinse before you leave
  
• Eat soft foods that are not too hot or cold
• Use ice packs and ibuprofen to reduce swelling
• Take a couple days off work after your procedure to rest
• If you need to work, ask if you can have light duty for a few days or work from home
• Slowly begin to add normal food back into your diet once swelling reduces
